"One of the most important aspects of my design is sculpturality. I want to make forms which clearly rise from the surface and look interesting no matter which direction you look at them. While designing jewellery I feel most comfortable by thinking of them as sculptures primarily relating with the human body.
Especially the tactile attributes fascinate me greatly. A piece of jewellery is often an object which is constantly touching the body and skin, and that’s why I want to take into account, as comprehensively as possible, how the piece of jewellery actually feels. For me, it is a huge thing to not only think how to make my designs look great, but to make them feel like it as well."
